⋆ — “ maybe, one day, we will. i’ll be sure to bring some ice cream from fortescue’s the next time i see you. ”

  --- “ that’d be fantastic !! ” roma beamed. “ chocolate please !! ”

♦ — “ This is the first time in months my hair’s actually been clean. Besides, we’re ( sort of ) safe here, right? ” Tired, Benjy leaned against the wall of the base, thinking if they could find it, the new Order could, too.

  --- “ i know, right ? it’s the second best feeling in the world. after gwenog’s cooking, ” roma beamed. “ i hope so. as long as we don’t have any new order spies. ”

⎯  ✴︎ “ Merlin, that sounds awful. Really? Their eyebrows? On fire? I thought my day was bad. I’m still drinking this though. It was well earned. ”

  --- “ it was hilarious. unfortunate, but hilarious. i swear they were furious, but i got away, so all’s good. ”

▵ — “ Technically I’m looking for two things. The easier one would be the Ministry of Magic? I know there’s multiple entrances but I’ve got to meet someone for a business meeting and it would be just my luck to go through the wrong one. ”

  --- “ uh, next right and then two lefts and the phone booth is the visitor’s entrance. Not sure how it works though. I bet we could just... follow someone else in through the regular entrance ? ”

⎯  ✴︎ “ Blue it is. ” She turned to the patch of snow near them and cast the spell and a rich royal blue spread across it until it reached the edges of the patch “ You’re right, red would ‘ave been dreadful. I could not imagine what anyone who saw it would think. ”

  --- “ it’s pretty, ” roma smiled, watching as the blue spread across the snow. “ perhaps that we’d been the rather beautiful attackers of some lucky escapee. ”

⎯  ✴︎ “ That sounds like us. Come to think of it, I remember a little something. James was pulling Doe’s hair for her attention. Sirius was trying to set a chocolate frog on on Marlene’s shoulder. And Rege was caught somewhere in the middle trying to be good for the picture. ”

  --- “ yes, rege was the good one among all of you problem-children. and then when i finally took the photo, fabian went and made that face. ”

⎯  ✴︎ “ We were so young here. I don’t even remember this being taken. ”

⋆ — “Don’t I know it. If I could eat ice cream every day, I would. Alas, I’d probably weigh a ton because I can’t stop eating it.”
