journeys of a rolling patatas

Not much has changed in most of planters except for that of the broccoli which grew more sprouts.

Went ahead and checked the seeds being germinated in the plastic bag and found some seeds that have started to sprout. I selected some seeds from Honey Pumpkin, Tomato, and Carrots.

Since it’s not too hot today, i decided to transfer them to new planters. I have a Ferrero Roche container from a present i got for my birthday. Decided to use this for seed germination.

To ensure that my seeds won’t get drowned, i punched small holes at the bottom.

I put some vermicompost in, lightly burried the seeds, then sprinkled a little water. Here’s the final product.

Finally some sun today so I got some photos in.

Part of my napa cabbage got fungi so i had to get rid of them. Brought out the napa cabbage seedlings I’ve been germinating in a plastic bag to replace those.

Overall a good day for “farming”. Wildly successful germination for pechay, yellow bell pepper, bokchoy, and napa cabbage.

It’s Day 2 of Mr Broccoli and flowers (lavender, lupinus, cherry blossoms, and sunflower). No progress on the side of the flowers but seen some progress with the broccoli.

There’s some sprouts coming out so hopefully the rest would come out soon.

Skipped out some observation days as it had been raining pretty badly. My two planters got drowned pretty badly even with the shade. Tried relocating them under a big tree to see if this would help with the sun and rain dilemma (ergo where to put so that there’s sun but wont get drowned under the rain)

Surprised to see some growth after 1 day. I’m worried though about all this rain. Will try to find a better position for my planters.

Made labels for vegetables since I am hopelessly forgetful.

Then started putting soil and seeds in (quite arbitrarily). Here’s to hoping/guessing for some growth!
