So many complain about feeling like people are using them as a “meme source” blog. I just think some of those people should check threads/messages they have going to see if it is their turn to respond because I bet 8/10 reblogging alot of meme stuff/pictures from you are trying to politely remind you they exist. ‘Cause you all act like balls of fire are being thrown at you if you haven’t responded in a month, or more, and someone asks about a thread you two started. Just saying.

Someone that reblogs a lot of memes for threads and isn’t getting them?  Don’t use them as meme blogs either.  They are trying to get threads going.  So if you don’t believe in reblog karma get it from the source, not from a roleplayer that is struggling for interaction. 

its a bad cycle to end up hoarding drafts because you’re afraid they’ll be mad at you for dropping it. so if you don’t mind at all and will still continue to want to write with them, reblog this and let your followers know that you are okay with them dropping threads, and you won’t hold it against them.

If you read this post and only take one thing from it let it be this: If you don’t want something done to you, don’t do it to someone else.

“I can’t help but feel extremely resentful towards the blogs, who I had politely asked to roleplay with when I was playing my OC, wouldn’t even give me the time of day and rudely ignored me. They could have just declined and said “no thank you” or “I’m not interested”, but apparently I’m not worth the few seconds it would’ve have took. This is one of many reasons I’m considering making my blog private and just blocking them all. What goes around, comes around.“

“If your self-promo is just a pretty picture, and some random quote with no description of your muse, status, or what you’re looking for in partners, I’m not even clicking through to your blog. I’m not swayed by a nice photoshop job. I care about the writing contents of your blog. Nice pictures help to elevate a blog, but they can’t be a substitute for the foundations of it. I’m roleplaying, not looking for graphic commissioners. I need substance and if you’re making a post that’s meant to promote your blog, you should be damned sure it shows substance of some kind, otherwise I’ll assume your blog does not have that substance. And I’m not wasting my time clicking all these uninformative promos just in the hope that one of them could belong to a blog I might want to follow. Do the self-promo properly or forget about me following you.”

And really let us not get started with attempting to showcase your writing ability and grasp of your character in an open.  Either it grows mold or when it is answered you get a two-word reply.
