Some sketches of masks for a character design, these are a quite old so unfortunately I don’t remember exactly to what culture each one is based on, I think that the first one is based on a tibetan mask [maybe a representation of mahakala, but its most probably is a mix of various masks from different cultures], the second one has a clear pan-african influence, and the third one is based on a tecuani mask from Mexico. . Back in the Inktober of 2019 I was making some inked paper minis, themed as the monsters of my gunpowder fantasy setting.
