                                            ‘ hmm ? ’, lance questioned keith .  he did not want to spend time with him at all .  he planned to have time for himself for once .  his schedule was all planned .  since they had an intense fight with zarkon’s forces, he wanted to have a long shower, along with wearing a face mask afterwards .  but when he was given an opportunity to beat the shit out of him, he did not want to lose it .  all his plans were canceled for sparing with his frenemy .  the blue paladin smirked,  ‘  who wouldn’t want to fight with you, mullet head ?  ’

things have become better when he became a paladin. however, he is still not into making bonds, but he is trying. yet, it is really hard for him nevertheless. keith didn’t have anything like friends or romantic interests in the past. he might think it’s a burden for him and yet he would be scared that, if he actually would develop romantic feelings, it would talk a long and hard path for him. he first would feel a little disgusted at the feeling, hi heart would bump like crazy, he’d have sleepless nights and looking at the person or talking about the person would just make everything worse and he would CONSTANTLY avoid this person. 

‘ shiro? ’

—— he was scared. fear is such a mighty sentiment. keith could never say he’s scared; he’d never admit he’s scared. but right now, his thoughts wouldn’t leave him and now he’d even need some advice from someone who probably had experienced fear— or not.

‘ i’m scared... ’, he whispers, ‘ what if... what if the galra side completely takes over me and... i’d forget being myself? ’

‘ you’re still sulking around? ’, heaving a sigh, the red paladin approaches the brunette. honestly— he doesn’t want to talk to lance at all, but for some reason he really has the urge to. ugh, awkwardness ahead, but since both need to bond a little more, he would finally put his courage together. ‘ hey. let’s spar, shall we? you want to fight me? here’s an opportunity. ’
