INFO Ill start off by mentioning that I've been working on this world since 2023 and it has gone through multiple different versions due to me getting terrain or measurements or placements wrong while going off of just pictures of Vista Beach. Making this world has been a huge passion project of mine for forever since TS3 on the Wii was my first sims game and I loved it as a kid mainly due to the town reminding me of my own town. So yea its finally done and I'm finally getting around to publishing it!

After the first few attempts of making the world I eventually got a second monitor and stopped using images as references for the world and I actually pulled up the game on the second monitor to play it and see everything in detail while building the world to make sure its 100% accurate and this method worked extremely well and gave me new motivation to create the world.

Of course since its create-a-world I ran into multiple different bugs, crashes and corruption that really demotivated me into even touching TS3 but after that phase and after learning how to use create-a-world and how to optimize the game and just everything, it eventually became much easier and I learned alot of creating worlds after Vista Beach.

Since I really adore this world I might make a more polished and updated custom version of Vista Beach in the future.

INSTALLATION There are two files within the zip file. You only need to care about 1 of them depending on the way you want to install Vista Beach.

Option 1 Drag the Vista Beach.world file into your Sims 3 directory into this file path: C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Worlds The path might be different depending on how you installed Sims 3 but this is what it is for EA App users and its generally the same for everyone. After that you can open up Sims 3 and find Vista Beach within ur list of worlds! To uninstall just remove it from where you just put it.

Option 2 Double click the Vista Beach.Sims3Pack file and let it open the launcher and download the world. Alternatively instead of double clicking it, you can put it in your downloads folder, open the launcher and install it there. Here is the path to the downloads folder: Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads I wouldn't recommend this option just because the Sims 3 launcher can be buggy or laggy and just has issues in general.

WHATS FEATURED I tried my best to recreate it exactly how it looks on Wii. Here's a list of everything featured in the world. -All the original sims and families from Wii version made by me -All original lots from Wii version made by me

-Seagull Suites Hotel now functional as a resort with custom interior

-Non-functional skatepark

-Shell cafe from Wii version now functional as a java hut

-Shell office tower from Wii version now functional as business career

-Shell surf shop from wii version now functional as a bar

-All basegame spawners

KNOWN ISSUES (will be fixed when a new version releases) -Rabbithole names do not match the ones in the Wii version

-All sims outfits excluding everyday outfit do not resemble the ones I originally made

-Some buildings are not 100% accurate due to the Wii version using unique shell buildings

-Half of Plata Lake's water will not appear in map view

-The camera upon first loading up the world will be in the worlds mountains

-Sims and cars cannot go over the road under the bridge

-A certain lot has an unfinished address -Some lots have seams at the edges

-A few store content pillars replaced themselves with basegame ones

-The palm tree in the middle of the pool disappears

-Sims often get stuck on the bridge

Any other weirdness or jankiness you might see is intentional as to replicate how everything looks on the Wii version
