What's Up Universe?!? The past few weeks have certainly been a whirlwind! I am very happy to say that as of yesterday, we have finally arrived safely in Nashville! I'll be moving into college on Monday! As my family and I navigated the windy roads here, I thought to myself about how I would navigate this next journey and phase of my life. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to go study what I love the most in a place that will truly help me to blossom into both the musician and person that I'm looking to become. By presenting myself authentically, working smart, being proactive, embracing new ideas, trusting God, filling my surroundings with kindness, and both giving and accepting love to and from others, I truly believe I'm setting myself up for success. What's Up Universe?!? I do apologize for the late hour. I will do my best to not continue this habit going forward. I will say that 2 AM thoughts are the things for which I am thankful tonight. It's kinda twofold tonight, I guess. I'm thankful for 2 AM thoughts in general. I get really inspired this time of night. Don't know what that says about me, but I take it as a blessing. I'm also thankful for tonight's 2 AM thought. I'm really proud of myself for, disregarding the time of day (or night), taking 5 minutes of every day to consciously think about something or someone I'm thankful for in my life. I never quit, even on my worst days, and took the time to be consciously positive. I mean, when I really sit and think about it, I have so much abundance of positivity and joy that I have welcomed, welcome, and will welcome into my world. When things get out of hand in my life, I can both literally and figuratively look at the things I have going right. Since I started this at the end of April, I've more than doubled my post content, spread positivity, and supported my own mental health. As Michael Scott says, it's a win-win...win. I sincerely hope that me sharing these everyday has helped even one of you out there to think about your own blessings and joys that you're thankful for in your life. Cause in a world that can be scary and overwhelming, it's so big to hold onto the good things and people. It's how we all get through each day and get each other through this thing called life. What's Up Universe?!? Today I am incredibly thankful for our high school's Principal's Cabinet team and advisors. The team of adults and students is simply stellar. So many amazing memories over the years! This morning I was caught by complete surprise when I was greeted at my door by my executive principal and cabinet advisor/10th grade English teacher. They were so kind and gave me a beautiful basket commemorating my time growing as a leader and person in the organization. It was so thoughtful and made my whole week! Thank you both so much!!!
