“Ha, you don’t seriously still follow those traditions, do you?” Still, the effort taken to get the mistletoe above him was quite impressive. He was already tall, but with the added inches from levitating, getting the plant above him took quite the effort. “You could have just asked. I wouldn’t have said no.”

“Now where be the fun in that, suga?” he smirks, holding the branch with the mistletoe at the end a little higher. “This is way more in’erestin’. So my question still stands, Spirit...... Whatcha gonna do ‘bout it?” Shaking the branch in her hands to emphasize her point. 

Johnny reached a hand up to hold the step of the mistletoe. He leaned down in front of her face, still leaving a few inches between them. “I’m not interested in doing what a bundle of sticks tells me to.” He stressed his point, “But I know you won’t take no for an answer.” He leaned forward to press a quick kiss to her lips. It was fleeting, like he was still trying to prove his own point, but the smile it put on his lips was obvious. “Happy?”

She leaned in to accept her prize with a smirk. “I guess, if that’s howya gonna seal it.”, playing at that it was.... okay... but not great....
