Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always related a bit too hard to the robot characters in shows (probably because I’m autistic) and now that I’m an adult, I’ve become way too into forcemech (probably because I kinda want everyone else to get more autistic :/) but also because the idea of upgrading someone, forcefully or not, into a better form and maybe they’re fighting it the whole way but when the upgrades are complete and they have shiny metal instead of skin, invulnerability instead of bruises and pain, wires instead of fragile and easy to damage neurons, they’ll be so much happier- is so, so hot to me. Even more fun when it’s willing, when you replace parts of them bit by bit and they’re jumping with how from it, full of euphoria. Like, a translation timeline except each photo shows them with more and more parts replaced until the end where they’re a fully updated robot.
