Sure & Certain

Robin shrugged, leaning against the wall, arms crossed over his chest, a lazy grin on his face, “I mean, I could distract the nurses and guards and shit and you could make a run for it but that would involve you running, and you don’t really look like you’re gonna be running any time soon so..” He trailed off, lifting his shoulders in another shrug.

ROBIN: how was italy?

“Yeah, hopefully. Though all the movies where people have been brought back to life have taught me that resurrecting people probably isn’t the best idea.”

“They’ll probably just skip it entirely. And when little kids ask about it, the only response will be, ‘we don’t talk about that year.’”

“Well then, it’s official. 2016 is the year from hell.”

It took him a few moments to put two and two together as he read the note left in his door, “No way.” he muttered to himself quietly, heading over to the mailbox. He knew he’d asked for Green Day tickets. He didn’t think his secret santa would actually get them. He reached in and pulled out two tickets. He took a few moments to process exactly what the tickets were for, and then he practically punched his mailbox in excitement, scaring the little old lady next to him, who was also getting her mail. “Fuck yeah! I mean, sorry, sorry. I was just....” He turned bright red and held up the tickets to the old lady, a sheepish smile on his face, “Green day tickets. I’ll....i’ll be going inside now.” 

       “I don’t think so. Unless you’re a fucking child or something, no one gets through the holidays without getting at least a little tipsy.”

“Two. Guitar and Trumpet.”

“There was Gwen from Ben 10, Natalie Portman, and I vaguely remember having a crush on one of the pink power rangers.”

“Both.”
