The very first rough aufwader sketches from 30 years ago. The pencil is very faint now, hence the overdone gamma boost.

I’m sure the other realms did have similar formal names, not sure what they are offhand. That would require hunting through many sketchpads, unless it was mentioned in the almanack? An early drawing of Ysabelle would be in the same pads.

Dark by name, even darker by nature.

It’s surprising though just how much of a life of their own some characters do acquire. Some of the heinous things they get up to, or say, seem to come from nowhere and shock me sometimes.

I stumbled across these stills from what I think was a short, German student film based on #DancingJax I’d love to see it!

Yes, the third and final part of the Hagwood trilogy is finally (!) published. There will be deaths.
