At William Safe Shelter, we’re home to over 250 rescued dogs—each with their own wagging tail, soulful eyes, and a heart full of hope. These dogs have faced abandonment, injury, and neglect, but here, they’ve found a safe place to heal and grow.

However, we’re facing a crisis. With over €8,000 in debt to food suppliers and monthly expenses exceeding €4,000, our resources are running dangerously low. The kibble bins are almost empty, and we need your help to ensure every dog continues to be fed, treated, and cared for.

At WILLIAMS SAFE SHELTER, every day is a new chapter in the incredible journey of our rescued dogs. These furry friends come from all walks of life Abandoned, Abused, or Found wandering alone. Here, they find safety, care, and love as they wait for their forever homes.

Each morning, excited tails wag as our team begins their rounds, offering breakfast and belly rubs. Playtime in the yard is a joyful chaos of running, jumping, and occasional friendly mischief. For dogs still recovering, quiet moments of gentle care and medical attention are their first steps toward healing.

Every dog has a story. There's Max, who finally learned to trust again, and Bella, whose playful energy lights up the shelter. They remind us daily why we do what we do.

He is Now Recovering ❤️‍🩹

Pete was found as a stray then taken to a veterinary hospital for treatment. He is currently in our injured room for medication and regular checks.

Nursing team was replacing the splint. He was still very painful and needed 0.2mg/kg methadone IV.
