This has probably been pointed out before but the scene in s3 when Will says “I’m not going to fall in love” while putting syrup on his breakfast is similarly shot to the breakfast scene in s4 when Will is staring at Mike looking at El’s uneaten plate of waffles. Will is even sitting in the same seat position and the angle of the camera is the same. There’s even syrup on the table even though neither Mike or Will use it. I wonder if they shot it similarly to parallel that scene in s3 to almost say like look he fell in love.
