“fine. but if pekka rollins kills us all, i’m going to get wylan’s ghost to teach my ghost how to play the flute just so that i can annoy the hell out of your ghost.”
brekker’s lips quirked. “i’ll just hire matthias’ ghost to kick your ghost’s ass.”
“my ghost won’t associate with your ghost,” matthias said primly, and then wondered if the sea air was rotting his brain.

“…a chasm opened in the earth and out of it coal-black horses sprang, drawing a chariot and driven by one who had a look of dark splendor, majestic and beautiful and terrible. He caught her to him and held her close. The next moment she was being borne away from the radiance of earth in springtime to the world of the dead by the king who rules it.”Â

“It was nearly midnight, and he was lying on his front in bed, the blankets drawn right over his head like a tent, a torch in one hand and a large leather-bound book (A History of Magic, by Bathilda Bagshot) propped open against the pillow.”

multiples of 10 for the book asks?
Thanks!
10. What would you like to change/see more of in the community?
Nothing really that I can think of? More interaction between people, on tumblr especially, would be cool
20. Is it how you thought it would be?
I didn’t really have any expectations, so I’m not really sure how to answer that? Other than saying everyone that I’ve interacted with has been (for the most part) really lovely, so that was a nice suprise
30. Can you leave a series unfinished or do you have to own all the books and try them all?
I don’t like too, but if I’m really not enjoying it then I’m not going to force myself to keep reading. For example I have the first three Throne of Glass books, and I’ve read the first one and the book of side stories and I just don’t like them, so I don’t think I’ll bother reading the other two that I have
40. What book that has made you cry? How do you feel when you find a typo/spelling error in a book?
For a book that’s made me cry - I could list so many. I cry at everything, but the last book that made me cry was Hero at the Fall by Alwyn Hamilton. I was not expecting it at all, even though TttT made me cry too. So kudos to you, Alwyn, got me 2 for 3 there.Â
As for spelling errors, they don’t really bother me. It’s kind of fun to pick them out, but I understand that it’s very difficult to write a novel, and it’s hard for an editor as well as the author to catch every mistake in there. A few typos aren’t a big deal.
50. Do you read classics? If so, what’s your favourite?
Honestly, no, I don’t. The only classics I ever read were in school - Jane Eyre was one and I absolutely hated it. We read Of Mice and Men which I really liked, but other than those two I don’t think I’ve read anything out of choice that would be considered a classic. I’d like too, though, just have to find something that seems interesting.Â
