rktaeyang:
——⋆ back to normal、

Seokwoo is right, they have never been at a pool party together until today. He nods in agreement and realises that this is perhaps something he wishes to change in the future, that they get together more often for the mundane things. “You’re right… Strange…” Taeyang is obviously in thought when he now responds, desperately trying to recall the last time they did something fun.
Of course, Halloween last year was a noteworthy experience, though possibly a day that they don’t at all remember as normal—both being terrified and screaming for their lives, additionally to Taeyang being approached by a woman dressed in a costume made of tin. No, that day was anything but normal at all. “Still, I’m sure you can relax. There are eyes all over this place today.”
“What company is she in? I suppose not NOVA since I haven’t heard about this until now.” Not that he needs to know, it’s mostly for conversation’s sake. His lip twitches at the right corner in mild unease in response to the whistle, though, and Taeyang glares at the other whilst a sort of smirk appears. He can’t help but feel good about revealing the news finally, the now old news.
His shoulder tugs into another shrug, his gaze shifting to scan the visible area in front of them. With the arm comfortably around his shoulders, the two of them truly reveal how close their friendship is. “I’m not sure… I think she’s supposed to come but I don’t know when,” he hopes soon.
“Yes we’ll just have to rectify that, don’t we.” More of a statement than a question. Despite being the month’s evaluation taking place in the pseudo relaxing environment, Seokwoo still feels a little on the edge. Not just because he was looking out for Yoorim, but for several factors he has been pushing behind his mind. “Reckon we should get some escape from all this soon.”
Practically and logically he knew Taeyang is right of course, his best usually is even though Seokwoo would never admit it out loud. Taeyang has become his voice of reason for plenty of occasions throughout the last years, though Seokwoo tends to return the favour- some times rather than often, however.
“She got into KT. You’ know I don’t see the point of this evaluation, I mean I do but if they were going to be strict about the whole thing- where is the fun in that?” Except this is the reality of things, the first hand experience of what it would be like as an idol performing in front of a crowd in say a summer festival or something. A perfect demonstration that an entertainer is an actual career- a job.
Taking a step away from Taeyang, Seokwoo crossed his arms upon his chest and critically observered his friend. “How are things? You both sort out your little... disaggrement?” Probing in a little more, mostly because he knew how much the break up affected his friend and though Taeyang is entitled to his privacy and secrets, Seokwoo does like to occasionally push him a bit.
