So, it has been a long road. Paperwork is complete, investigations done. Alida was declared officially brain dead at 8.00 pm on the 13th of June 2013 following an overdose. We thought she would have liked to be an organ donor, and for me she passed away at 12.30am on the 14th just after the organ donation team wheeled her away from us to theatre. I would like to thank you all for your kind messages and support. Please, please, keep an eye on your friends and learn what signs to watch for.
