Risky Romance: A Monster Expo

With this milestone, I feel ready to begin introducing some of the characters.

For those scrolling past, Risky Romance is my in development visual novel where you (yes you!) can play as an insurance agent visiting a small, seaside town in order to manage the risk of a local artist exposition. In a world where monsters walk amongst humans, this work trip will introduce you to a colorful cast of characters. Love was not included in your contract, but it may just find you anyway!

The Story

When your insurance job takes you to a quaint, seaside town to oversee the success of a local artist exposition, you weren’t expecting to find yourself enamored with the town and its residents.

In a world where monsters are recognized citizens, your choices will shape your experience as you take the time to enjoy your working holiday, explore, and even fall in love.* But be careful, falling in love is risky business.

*Your insurance plan does provide protection or cover any costs: physical, mental, material, spiritual, or otherwise; incurred due to the subjects of love, heartbreak, and other romantic pursuits.

This will be an LGBT-friendly game, with the player character able to date any of the love interests available.

I’m planning for there to be about 8 love interests to be available, 3 women, 3 men, and two non-binary options. Of course, this is still in development, so everything is subject to change! But seeing as I have most of the story planned, I’m more likely to add more options than to take them away~
