Rationale
Overall I'm stratified with the project document as it works as a successful integrated awareness Campaign that brings awareness about the endangered butterfly forest ringlet.
Forest angles took a long way to come as to now. As I was struggling with a variety of ideas in my mind, I had to change my butterfly to forest ringlet from Monarch butterflies, which slowed my process down. And researching part was a challenge as there was barely any good information about forest ringlets.
However, in the end, the Forest Angels did a good job spreading the awareness, and as I kept on researching, I gained a good understanding of how I will create the content for my campaign.
Visual elements and coming up with collateral ideas were the most challenging part of my campaign was I approached my campaign in a different way than others. I came up with the idea of my campaign operating by collaborating with schools and mainly focusing on educating the message of my campaign.
By having Gen z audience age being young (toddlers), it was challenging to develop suitable collaterals. But by changing the perspective viewpoint of my campaign and focusing on "what if I was a teacher doing this campaign for my student" gave me enormous ideas relating to collaterals that I could come up with.
Coming up with Experiential collaterals was the main highlight of my campaign as it was perfect collateral for my campaign
I wanted to think out of the box and see if I could bring this campaign into the real world. It led to the idea of collaborating with the Auckland art gallery, explicitly targeting toddlers.
Firstly I had to check in with the tutors if this idea would work and if it allowed using the actual photos of the art gallery and the logo. Thankfully the tutors allowed me to use this idea, and from this, I developed this idea into the real world.
to finish off my Rationale, I have learnt a lot of things by creating a campaign entirely by myself and working and analysing different types of the campaign was interesting and mostly, creating design towards targeted audience gave me a good sense of understanding how to design stuff that suits depending on their certain age groups or their personalities.
