Yeah Boy

“This is old school Britney Spears!” She pointed out with a gasp. “I’m totally ashamed that you don’t know that. I need to start doing better as a sister, apparently,” She joked and went over to stop the song from playing from her laptop that sat on her bed. She closed it and pushed it to the side. “ —I won’t make you suffer through dance lessons from yours truly though,” She chuckled and twirled back around to face Rian.  “…Did you want to do something together?” She asked, smiling. “I’m actually as free as can be, if you wanted to hit up the bonfire or the Rec. Room or something.”

“I’ve never seen the video to know the dance. I know the song.” he laughed. “Yeah you do.” he teased. “Wanna go play some video games? I’d say we could play just dance or something but we know I’ll beast you in it so I’ll save you the shame.” he joked.

Vienna chuckled lightly, listening to him. “—You can keep your knee pads, Ri. I won’t be trying that again, don’t worry,”  Vienna responded, rubbing her knee with her hand; before standing up straight again and getting an idea. “…Unless, you wanted to try it? You’re an athlete, right? You could probably nail it and make it look hot, and not embarrassingly painful like I made it seem.”

He laughed a bit and made a face. “I’m a soccer player. Not a dancer. Honestly I’d probably be terrible at it. Also I have no idea what this dance is.” he said with a laugh.

“I seriously just bruised my knee so bad trying to learn the choreography for Britney Spears’s ‘I’m a Slave 4 U’ music video.”

“This is why.... knee pads are a thing? I think I have a set you can use if you ever try again.”

Jack stands in the corner of the Arena. Behind deep black shades, his eyes are affixed on the back of a camper fighting dummies in the distance. “Come on…”

Rian had been doing a set of squats in the corner, and when he finally finished his reps walked over to Jack, a smile on his face as he wiped himself down with a towel. He slid into the spot next to him. “Should I be jealous?” he teased before nudging him.

Lux turned fully when the boy walked towards her, holding out the shirt to him, laughing softly and shaking her head. “Unfortunately I’m not much of a water color artist,” she shrugged, though she nodded and listened intently as he gave her suggestions of what might help. “Thanks, I’ll try that.”

“Hey. Go big or go home I always say.” he laughed. He went over to some of the string and cut a bunch of it off in weird mismatched colors. He wasn’t really good at art. “So. What were you painting?”

“I know it’s tough. But I mean I’m here for you if you need and i know you know that.”

“Right. Sorry. I’m being an ass.”

“You’re not. I get it. Just. Like. I want to help.”

“If it’s weird they sure seem hella eager to suck it.”

“Hey I mean you they want to know if it works the same as a regular dick or if it’s weird.”

“Or they’re too busy moanin’ ta even talk.”

“Again. Because they want to make sure you don’t realize your dick is weird.”
