She Danced With Dragons

1 of .... a few sketches I finally got around to doing Lily and Lucy from @fataleromeo's Spellbound story. ✨

Arya strolled up to him with biggest burst of confidence that she could muster. She took in a deep breath and said-

Arya: Uh h-hello?

Stuttering? Very cool, Arya.

Aslan: Oh! Hello. It’s you again.

Arya: It’s me. 

Confidence, Arya. Confidence.

Arya: I mean... Yes! It’s me again, correct!

Aslan [chuckling]: Nice to see you again. I trust that you’re staying off of high stools. Or at least not falling from shelves.

Arya: Y-yes. I uhh didn’t catch your name that day.

Aslan: How rude of me. I’m Aslan O’Galea. You are?

Arya: Arya Crowe, Future Sage.

Aslan: Future Sage, huh? We’re ambitious are we?

Arya could only stand and ponder what she’d say when she finally saw him again. She would have to be smooth but also demure but also also firm and put together. This is how she would get his attention. This... had never worked in her favor much before but, there was truly a first time for everything and today was her day! And if she’d learned anything from her mother after all this time, it would be to hold her chin up and remember that she is the absolutely better than everyone else around her. And this mystery prince would be no different!
