Keeping it weird as usual.  I always have way more ideas than i can reasonably use, or act upon. T^T Bits of concepts, ideas, thoughts, poetry, etc. always weasel their way into everything i do. I can’t seem to help it. The basic concept is that she summons blades and hosts duels. The jewel on her abdomen prevents the souls of the recently deceased from entering the afterlife. If someone dies in a duel, she can resurrect them. It also allows her to see into the future, and across long distances a la crystalball. To divine agents, fights are seen as feats of hubris. To give one’s life, to display one’s might, to fight and to win, is the ultimate proof of devotion. If one wishes to earn the favor of a god, one must fight to the bitter end. It is the indiscernable nature of mortal beings which calls the djinn down from the sky. Like gnats drawn to the harvest, the spoils of bounty always make their way back to the earth… Who can defy the odds? Who will prove the better entertainment, in the long run?
