Sumipon (Nagisa): She's a decorated Rarepon (unspecified, she's kind of like a Mogyoon? But with a pinch of beetle) warrior. Her role is like a mix of Dekapon and Tatepon, leaning moreso towards Tatepon, but she doesn't use a shield. She's very skilled, and excels in combat! But despite her status and her many fans, she's more of a loner, a hopeless romantic waiting to find the right person for her...

General Yukiton (Honoka): She basically takes up Gong the Hawkeye's role in this AU! Yukiton is a young prodigy. Through her brilliant tactics and deadly precision in battle, she quickly rose through Zigoton ranks, eventually making her way all the way up to the prestigious role of General. Yukiton is harsh on her subordinates, but her battle strategies are nigh foolproof. Things change when a certain Patapon manages to fight on equal footing with her...

Priestess Hikari: Not much info on her, she's basically Meden in this AU, a guardian figure looking after the rest of the tribe.

I don't have a particular character for Hatapon yet, but I know that other Verone students are Patapon as well, and so far I've got Fuji-P as a Yumipon, Shiho as either a Megapon or a Kibapon, and Rina as a Yaripon.

Hiyuja (Saki) & Mijo (Mai): In this AU, the LocoRoco are nature spirits that protect the planet and can influence the weather and cause natural disasters. They're carefree and they love to sing! They have the same abilities as actual LocoRoco too, they can grow in size by eating and split into an army of little blobs, but they have the added ability of being able to take on a humanoid form when they're at a decent size. Though unlike LocoRoco, their size doesn't eally reset overtime, so they have *tons* of little blobs all scattered around the world that keep watch over nature, and when they all gather into a huge titan is when they can use their full power to cause natural disasters and such!

Kaoru and Michiru are LocoRoco, too, and they're spirits of the stars and moon, respectively

Sumipon doesn't take them seriously when she meets Hiyuja for the first few times, but the second they find the Verve Drum (Don Drum) and become capable of summoning the spirits' aid through the miracles, is when Sumipon realizes just why the nature spirits are so revered lmao

The basic story of this AU is that Sumipon and Yukiton get into frequent clashes, scarring each other's eyes in the process, but the second they remove each other's masks is when they start falling in love, and Sumipon falls wayyy harder, to the point where she starts abandoning the Patapon tribe to go on reckless solo raids of the Zigoton empire, though getting frighteningly far every time, and even gets captured on purpose just to see Yukiton meet her in prison before breaking out and escaping. She's crazy HSKDHDJNDD

I imagine the two slowly come to a mutual understanding and Yukiton soon admits that she'd rather watch the world be destroyed due to the Patapon reaching Earthend than stand another minute of fighting Sumipon, so they run away together 💛

There's an alternate ending where they both kill each other Shakespearean tragedy style but I prefer the happy ending shndbdd

Maybe losing her greatest general is what sends Queen Kharma into a rage and pushes her to sell her soul LMAO
