Helena: Wooo there tiger. What's with the textbook?
Jazz: You tell me?! You broke into my apartment.
Helena: No I'm pretty sure this is my apartment.
Jazz: I paid the rent and I've signed the lease. I know for a damn fact this is my apartment.
Jazz: If you don't even know then it's definitely not your apartment.
Helena: No it definitely is. I think the landlord just scanned both of us.
Jazz: I'm supposed to believe somebody in spandex?
Helena: What? Never met a cape in your life before?
Jazz: I have, though he usually wears a hazmat suit. Not lingerie.
Helena: I have never met anybody in a hazmat suit.
Jazz: Yeah well first times all around. Get out of my apartment.
Helena: I'm pretty sure we can work something out maybe put the text back down.
Jazz: What? Like some involuntary side work?
Helena: Well not exactly as this was my only safe house on the side of the city. Honestly I don't even need to be here most of the time I just keep my stuff here.
Jazz: Those weird boxes were yours?
Helena: So you have seen my things! Please don't tell me you threw them out..
Jazz: Half of them were like weapons?! If I threw them out I'm pretty sure I would get arrested.
Helena: Ah you're not from Gotham. That tracks. No you wouldn't have been arrested people would have thought you were like an arms dealer for a bit but not arrested. The police here are kind of shit at their jobs.
Jazz: Oh. Well I'm used to please not being very good at their jobs I just thought this was supposed to be a normal City.
Helena: Hun. Gotham is anything but normal. Did they not tell you that when you moved in?
Jazz: Everything they said sounded pretty normal?
Helena: Murderous clowns and gas weather forecast is normal?
Jazz: I mean it doesn't sound that bad. All your problems are created by humans who are train professionals in their respective categories. I'm pretty sure all of them have phds at least at one point or another.
Jazz: Most of your problems don't really seem that bad? And this is coming from somebody who has lived above radiation for a better part of her life. I do have an immunity to most of the toxins I've seen so eh?
Helena: I don't know whether I should be concerned or confused.
Jazz: It's okay to be both. So I've been told.
Helena: You are a Gotham U student, aren't you?
Jazz: What gave it away? The textbook?
Helena: The snarky sarcasm. What exactly are you studying to be?
Jazz: What are you, my mother? Why you want to know?
Helena: Because I'm feeling days over and giving that you reek of tragic backstory I have a feeling that I need to keep an eye on you.
Jazz: See that's prejudice. Why are you assuming that all people with sad childhoods are the same?
Helena: I didn't mean to offend. You are camping out in my safe house though.
Jazz: MY apartment that I pay for is not a campsite. So take your shit that's in that closet and go.
Helena: Yes yes. I'll actually come for it later. Though I don't think this will be the last thing to see each other.
Jazz: I really hope it is I don't want to see you again.
