Yes I get they need to in order to protect themselves and others for being dragged away and experimented on.

But I won't ever get the anger ppl have towards kid characters for acting out like a CHILD WOULD DO.

Like when Thrash was upset at the memorial, he doesn't get the gravity of it because he's a CHILD. And Megs understood trying to explain that this is a future they don't want to have.

And the majority of the time the hate is mostly towards the female child character who i see get the most hate or called out for acting out.

You wanna know why? They are kids! They don't know better, or if they do kids somtimes make the same mistake over and over. Its more the fault of the writer vs the character it's self.

But the Terrans are NEW SPECIES. They ARE NOT CYBERTRONIAN. They are similar but they are entirely new sub species with different needs.

They are not millions of years old like their Cybertronian counter parts with a vast amount of knowledge or combat experience. They were born literally YESTERDAY. Ye story may act like Teens but they have the knowledge, emotional regulation, knowledge of a toddler. The only thing they seem to have is a sense of being good and wanting to try and do the tight thing.

Trash and Twitch instinctively went to robbie and moe's aid the moment they were born. They are not perfect kids, but they are GOOD ones.

More and Robbie I've seen ppl argue should "know better" and urge their siblings to be the same. Guys, they are ALSO KID. Like 8 and 12 ???? Yes they can urge the terrans to be better but even they r kids and make mistakes to. That's the POINT.

Yes they r gonna think maybe to give a Decpeticon a chance because literally their mother is bff's with the EX LEADER OF TRYANCIAL TATICAL MILTARY GROUP.

The point about the Terrans is that even in a world where ppl r telling you how to be, you can only be yourself and thats NOT BAD.

Each terran i feel represents so many different kinds of kids. Shy timid Jawbreaker, extroverted social Hastag, Curious inventive Nightshade, Big sibling with a urge to have fun with other twitch, the brother who is goofy and adventurous Trash.

There is a reason Moe's and Robbie have the cyber sleeves , to feel all these curiosities, insecurities, and joys to learn and grow from them. To UNDERSTAND them.

That is what growing up is. Making sense of all these things, of the world. Of ppl.

They aren't Cybertronians. They aren't Humans. And if you happen to be a mix kid you might understand how alone you can feel in a place where you don't feel you belong. You don't understand the past, why its important ot how it affects you.

As you grow. U learn.

But here? This reveal? This is a Big Reveal for us, Peter B Parker, and Miles, all on different levels. We and Peter both know Doc Ock is a portly dude, not a woman. We know the name Octavius… Otto Octavius. But when she says her name is Olivia Octavius we’re clued in to the fact that Doctor Octopus is a woman in this universe. And she has Peter captive.

Miles, if he was paying attention in science class earlier in the movie, would have known her name was Olivia Octavius, but that doesn’t mean anything to him, why would it? Liv has apparently been very good about keeping her supervillainy a secret. She’s in educational videos shown in high-schools. So to Miles, the reveal here is this scientist lady, who he knew enough about to know was the head scientist at Alchemax, is a supervillain. He gets the reveal a second or two after Peter.

And the movie? It was dropping hints the entire time, confident in our expectations blinding is to the truth. Olivia’s name was partially visible when Miles got to science class. Her glasses are octagonal. The lights in her lab are octagonal. We know she’s working with the Kingpin. Why wouldn’t she be a supervillain? Because she’s hot? Hell, Peter even says he needs to reexamine his internal biases. Maybe he was telling us that we should too.
