Taken from Facebook.   Reason #820 We (she) raised our daughter to be fierce.  She wasn’t my possession to lay down rules for and decide how others should treat her.  My job as a father and husband was to lay the foundation of expectations through how I treat her mother.  If I act with Honor, Integrity, Loyalty, and Respect then she (and our sons) would use that as an example of acceptable behavior.   I don’t believe I have ever yelled at her. (I just asked her to double check and she said we have never yelled at each other that she can remember).  I open doors for her. I touch her lovingly when we’re near each other.  I hug her.  I always ask her opinion on things, especially major ones involving the family. I try treat her like the beautiful person I believe her to be.  I tried to be like a light house - I’m not there to bring my children to me, to guide them to me, I’m there to shine some light, to let them know of the dangers near, and, hopefully, make sure they have safe passage back home.   okay, now I’m rambling.  The coffee has kicked in.  Much love to everyone reading this.
