            Not hearing his question in her rush, Mako grabbed             the other's hand instead, tugging him forward.

'okay, okay. i'm glad.' gogo smiled when mako talked about her family. it was not a topic she usually listened to, besides her best friend tadashi, when he talked about her brother. he did not mention it as often as he did to honey, but the love was there.

     and as he watched the girl eat the food he began to              contemplate if he should throw up or not

         ’Well I would rather pay for my food than die from                   eating trash !’

           "Hm? Ah, no, no, no! This isn't  T R A S H ,              Picky-san! It's  m e a t  b u n s !" she laughed, figuring             he had it all wrong.

fried oranges? he’s never heard of such a thing. all of these strange modern-age foods. it was a good thing his arteries couldn’t possibly clog up from all the unhealthy snacks she would end up bringing him,

this particular thousands of year old mummy was already dead, to an extent after all,

       ❝ i am a pharaoh, a king. that is why my clothing              appears so flashy. ❞

a smile graced his features, presenting it in her direction, a small bow of the head,

this stranger was quite comforting,

       ❝ i would like that very much. ❞

           It took a moment for the brunette to process the foreign            word he was saying, having little knowledge of Egypt.             But once he explained it more, Mako let out a huge            exclamation of awe, clapping her hands together.            "Pharaoh? Ahhhhh, you're a king?!  Wow,  w o w !"            Per custom, the girl immediately began to bow her head            several times, practically bending at 90 degrees. 

                    "Mr. Pharaoh, it's an honor to meet you!                      And bring you food! I'll do really good, I promise!"                      Mako beamed back at the magnificent other,                       completely thrilled to have made a new friend.                      who wasn't only real ( and not just one she made up )                      but who was super super cool, too!

           "I'm Mako Mankanshoku, Third Year Student at Rinnou High            and part time cashier! My favorite karaoke song is Cruel Angel             Thesis!" she saluted. But, oh, to meet a king for the first time,            she really should have brought something . . . immediately,            Mako began to rummage in her pockets, thankfully coming across            a box of Morinaga chocolate balls she hadn't finished.

      “Ehhhhh?” Young Woongjae exclaimed in disbelief as he       shook his head and waved off his hands in refusal. Such       a ridiculously generous gesture has never been done to       him. “M-Miss, what are you doing?”

Paranoid that he must be a victim of some practical joke, the male started to look around in search of surveillance cameras. Did she find out that he wasn’t a native? Were his features too obvious that he was Korean? Or maybe it was his accent.. Damn, he really should have paid more attention in his Japanese elective.

        “I-Is this a practical joke? Are there cameras in here? I-I’m         not a thief! I’m not desperate for food!!” I’m an innocent         foreign exchange student!!”

           Mako didn't notice the customer's surprise to her            sudden charity as she continued to cheerfully bag            the sweets for him, humming as she went. When he            finally did speak up loud enough for her to hear, the            cashier was alarmed at his sudden protest, talking            about being a thief and a student and all sorts of things.

                      "Foreign exch--CAMERAS?! Ah?! Are there?!                        Haaaa, so fun! I've always wanted to be on one!"                        Mako gasped, not realizing he was asking her.                        She began to join him in looking around for some,                        when she noticed the cameras pointing towards the                        door and towards the register. 

she sure was loud for one person. fred and honey lemon were talkative people, but it was not compared to mako mankanshoku. ethel stared at the other female, as she talked about her mother’s freshly cooked croquettes. then when she mentioned ‘special' ingredients, she stopped to question, 'like what ingredients? did you want to get me killed? and for days?’

      WHAT?! I can’t believe you…

        If we’re adding honey mustard,                 shouldn’t we add jam.             Like Strawberry jam?   That goes well with honey doesn’t it?

           "Jam? Strawberry jam? Mmmm . . .               that's sweet, but honey mustard              isn't that sweet, I think? But it does              have the word honey in it, so . . . WELL!

                        Even if it isn't sweet,                          the jam could balance it                         out! JAM IS GOOD!
