Art Dump

It's so incredibly frustrating that every story I've written so far has been bad. It just piles on bad over bad over bad eternally and I don't think there's a single thing I can look at in my body of work without feeling intense disgust anymore. I need to keep making art until the good one exists.

There's a level of frustration I have at the world that can only be quelled if I make an insanely good piece of art one day and I think that's why reading Infinite Jest deals psychic damage to me because the brothers are the embodiment of the three things your art can be: (Perfect and goes beyond you), (good but interchangeable with a thousand other things), and (only appeals to niche audiences and will be used as an example of what not to be).
