My time has come unfortunately!
Dear users, views, followers of this Tumblr account. I am no longer in the urbex game I won't be urban exploring again to my knowledge.
No, nothing happened no illness I'm in very good health, no legal issues etc. However
"when you no longer fear the job, the job stops fearing you, that's when it's time to walk away"
After a million times urbex, all the safety, on-site blueprints, mapping hazards, mapping exits, O2 quality readings. Individual Radiation detection etc, we have slowly stopped and started to disregard safety, that 900 times may have went perfect because we took the time to map, mark, required gear etc for safety, we slowed down to a point I don't want a respirator tired of fighting it that ("complacency is a silent killer") where...
fear is actually a tool. It’s the "ping" in your brain that keeps you from stepping on a soft floorboard or breathing in a cloud of asbestos. The second you stop fearing the job, you stop respecting the variables, and that’s exactly when the "901st trip" becomes the one that changes everything.
I'll keep posting however we are finished with urbex!
