I am RespectableInsomniac on Ao3!! I see this “about me” on some other blogs, and I guess this is my blog so... Anyway, you can call me anything really, but Ri is best. I am 23 years old. I write fanfics on Ao3, but in real life, I am a chronically ill college student, who received a transplant in Dec 2024. I was on dialysis for seven years prior. (Yes I started dialysis at 14) This provides context for why I am so online I suppose. I love shipping gay stuff, if there is Yuri or yaoi to be found I shall find it. I myself being a queer person directs my interest but sometimes these people just have chemistry!! Mainly I write oneshots because I can’t seem to finish a long fic to save my life. Though I started on Wattpad and (unfortunately) wrote In the Hokage’s Office. (Originally under the user Noya_Simp, which has been changed to my psued chronically_deceased.)

Bungo Stray Dogs (Anime and Manga) I have an unhealthy attachment to Kunikida, I am being fr, he's my favorite character. Ships: Skk, Kunizai (Sometimes kunichuu)

Dr.Stone Sengen eats me alive, and I love Ryusui so much. I also love Ryusen

Heaven Official’s Blessing Baby's first danmei, and I do still love it very much all the fanart I see is amazing. Ships: Hualian ofc, Beefleaf and reluctantly Fengqing

Jujutsu Kaisen (Don’t ask me about anything after when Gojo dies I live in delusion in my many AU's) Ships: Satosugu, NobaMaki, and sometimes Itafushi (I've only written genderbent Itafushi)

Link Click I am actually so obsessed with Link Click, it's not a joke, I have a whole ass shrine dedicated to it, I love the trio, I love Shiguang, I love the story--my sisters are sick of hearing me talk about it.

Marvel? → But specifically JUST SamBucky, I am obsessed with them. I lost chess with the monkey on that one. I am so sorry. I've been on the ship since 2021 when TFATWS came out and have a few drafts for them I prob won't post.

Magi: Labyrinth of Magic I could never recommend this anime to anyone, but really I am obsessed w Sinbad. I love the cocky pretty man who can back it up, unfortunately. Though this doesn’t always hit. This is probably the least likely fandom I am to talk about, though I love the characters. I ship Sinja, I used to call it Sinfar.

Naruto SNS will NEVER leave my TL, or my rotation, I have so many WIPS for them and they were the reason I started writing fanfics at all in 2020!! They have my entire heart.

Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint (Webtoon and Novel) I am stalled at ch 400 something, I got spoilers for it but I want to finish it and I am scared to at the same time. I love Dokjoong, Joongdok whatever form it takes.

Tower of God My oldest fandom on this list, I have been reading ToG since I was 13. I tried to get everyone I know to read it, I have been unsuccessful for ten years. I only started shipping KhunBam like when I was 17 or so, it like occured to me that I could...I love them to death and reread certain fics for them yearly. I have reread ToG three times.

The Legend of Zelda {BOTW/TOTK} I played BoTW in 2019 and have never been the same. Link gives me gender envy. I have only played Botw and Totk & some of Majora’s Mask/Ocarina of Time on 3Ds but got a short attention span I guess cause I never finished. I love any and all fanart regarding my favorite boi Link, and I do not really ship Zelink, I kid you not blonde x blonde is not for me.

The Case Study of Vanitas {Anime and Manga} Vanoé makes me ill, but in the worst way. I love them, I know it's not happening, (no one warned me about Jeanne, and I love her but istg I love Vanoe and Domijeanne more) and I know this show isn't for me but I love it. Though I love Noe angst a ton. It’s practically most of what I read for this fandom and all that I write. He's my favorite character and it's not even close.

I've written works for most of these fandoms and I am in more fandoms than I have actually listed, but I love writing and engaging with people. I doubt this tumblr will get much traction so I guess this post is for the future in case anyone will see it.

So obviously, I just watched Fellow Travelers. Like JUST finished watching it. That shit was gut-wrenching, I almost cried like 5 times then I did actually cry at the end when they were at the memorial quilt holy shit. When Hawk kissed TIm in public (debatable) and he was like 'the world didn't end' it hurt me so much. SO much time just gone where they were ALWAYS hiding. I have so many thoughts about Hawk and Tim but they hurt so bad. As well as the other gays: I loved Frankie btw and how he kept pushing Marcus to be better and he changed, eventually but Hawk never did. Not really. Until it was over. ->On another note, I was also intermittently looking things up, like I had no idea what the Lavender Scare was at all (I am not joking) and I read more about it and it was so so sad just so many lives ruined and suicides commited because some guy decided gay = communist basically. I learned about the openly gay politician who was shot, (Harvey Milk) and I am glad I did learn about this too.

I love being unemployed cause wdym I am typesetting one of my fav fanfics in hopes of turning it into a book?? Though lets see if I even get there, InDesign is kicking my ass. I kind of wanna share the first chapter I got (mostly) done here but there's things I wanna fix and change. I’ve actually done most of the work already because I didn’t pick something over 70k words.

Learning as I go but still have questions: how do I make custom scene breaks, how do I change paragraph styles so that whatever I italicize stays that way...actually how do I simply copy from Ao3 so that things that ARE italics stay that way. I was getting frustrated manually doing it like there's GOT to be a better way. But this is my first time typsetting what is essentially a BOOK so for that I am having fun :)

(Also I HAD a job earlier this summer but was being underpaid literally below min wage for my state and I got ghosted. But it was just designing for a small business so)
