let love take control

As of yesterday, we are exactly 3 months away from little babe’s due date. How CRAZY! Next week I will officially be in the third trimester, and time is flying! We are praising the Lord for having such a healthy pregnancy thus far, and are praying that the rest of this time goes smoothly and easily. #BrandyAndGabeGetABabe

Today marks 9 months of being married to this sweet man. Oh how the time has flown by! Marriage has been the sweetest gift the Lord has ever brought me, and I can't wait to experience the new adventure of being parents in just 3 months! Marrying this man was the best decision and I'm so thankful for this life that we have built. The Lord has been so faithful in all things within our family. Thank you Jesus! And thank you, my sweet Gabriel, for still choosing me daily. 💕

The Lord has been speaking to my heart throughout this whole journey of becoming a momma. He constantly whispers to me, "Trust in me." I think carrying this sweet little babe has been the biggest trust exercise between me and Jesus. I cannot control anything that goes on in the womb. If something goes wrong, our little one's life is completely in the hands of the Lord and the only thing I can do is entrust Him with it. I find that trusting is so hard to do when it's something you love so deeply. Yet, every anxiety I have, He asks me to rest it before Him. And each time, He is so faithful to show up. Being a first time mom is honestly terrifying, but trusting in the Lord has brought a peace that surpasses all understanding. For he tells us, "Cast all of your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7
