Dori comes from a long line of Warrior Dwarves, and is the eldest of 2 other siblings. Their family puts a LOT of pressure into being a warrior, and if they had to be something else, a Forgemaster or blacksmith is just as respectable.

He had a ton of expectations put on his shoulders as eldest son of a renowned family of warriors, and his childhood was really not good :( When he became an adult, his parents gifted him this war axe, fully expecting him to pick up the reigns as another legendary warrior 

But realizing he didnt want any of that, and finally breaking. he took the axe and ran away from home, living with the Elves that shared a continent with the Dwarves and learned Carpentry from them. carpentry specifically is looked down on by dwarves bc its an elf specialty

Elves and Dwarves are not at war, but they used to be. and part of Dori's frustrations with his parents is that they clung to much onto the past, and werent able to move one from what they knew, and adapt to the peaceful times they live in. Its still tense between the two races but its miles better than it once was, and Dori found solace in elf company than his homeland

This was something I suddenly decided to do because I actually enjoy the isekai genre when it turns the concept on its head, or is a broader scope then typical harems and overpowered mc’s. I thought a lady turned lizard was a fun concept so here she is!
