After I finally found time outside of work life, my mind automatically went on vacation just thinking about cosplaying for the upcoming game conventions here in Dubai, and well of course food. We went to Ajman and knew we arrived once we started to see cars drive backwards. - I was taught that this is how you know you have crossed the border. (hahahah)
We went to China Mall and started scavenging for little pieces we could use for our upcoming cosplays.. it was around 9 pm when we left the place early as we got hungry.. and so we did right after we got a shirt customised at one of the tshirt printing shops. We stuffed ourselves with some good ol’ shawarmas that was toasted in a very distinct manner in the sense where it was more crisp than usual. It was good, and even better spicy, and drenched in some of that garlic sauce.
And oh right, the ice cream tasted good. The black colored ice cream in the photo that is covered with violet lighting was interesting. As Leen said, the flavour of this ice cream has smoky feel to it, as the this flavour was called “Charcoal.” Our second flavour that we tried was their cheesecake flavoured ice cream. In my opinion, this was more enjoyable. This little shop is called Snowflake and sells a lot of black coloured foods such as the ice cream above. One of the other foods that was recommended is also the “Black water”.
Yes, they also have Black Water.
They have various flavours besides charcoal such as blueberry, cheesecake and I wish i got to try those on a nice cone, however they happened to be out when we got there.
It was refreshing to try out these new desserts outside of the Dubai Mall life, and as you can see I was glad to have roaming around this backwards place pulling shenanigans from one store to the next with these guys.
