I like how Tony mentioned several times (Rolling Stones Interview) that they won't do anything unless they are all on the same page including even songs for this residency setlist, future gigs, music etc They all seem to be in a great space with each other and in their personal lives which always helps lol

Wholeheartedly agree, I think it also comes with age and probably Tom's illness also play some parts. We all living on borrowed time, they are lucky to have those great years together, despite the challenges they made it out alive and eventually found peace with each own family. Many of their peers don't. There's no competition between them. I think the biggest leap was Coachella, which was their bucket list so easier to say yes to it. And the success they got from it just bring a whole new energy to pull this show through.
