Genevive was never quite right. Her vampirism manifested a little different to most, with her lizard-like eyes and preference for animal blood. Something about her childlike demeanour just doesn't click into place. Perhaps there's more to Lula than meets the eye.

Carmen is also known as Wolfsbane, for reasons you could easily guess. She has countless scars from her battles with werewolves, but each one she considers a badge of honour. She is one of the few vampires to willingly and frequently visit Moonwood Mill, purely to cause trouble and fight. If there's a reason for her extreme hatred of werewolves, she has never spoken on it.

Blanche spent her entire unlife thoroughly miserable. She had never enjoyed life when she was alive, why would adding a thirst for blood change that? To her, there is no joy in the world, so her appearance and lifestyle reflects that - no colours. Just a plain existence.

Lady Matilda Stone was never one for mercy, believing firmly that mortals were good for little more than slavery. If other vampires wanted to waste their time nibbling and seducing, that was their prerogative. Matilda had bigger ideas - such as mastering necromancy, building a skeleton army to keep her territory in check, and ruling with an iron fist.

Claudia found her net worth increase over the years. It's easier to amass wealth when you're immortal. Showing up to parties and clubs for the fabulously rich is a fun way to hunt, and vampire society has plenty of such parties too - perfect for finding out rumours and secrets, and finding allies. Gossip is the best tool in such circles.

Nyx, it was said, was descended from a line of witches, eventually choosing to embrace immortality as a vampire. That would explain the strange rituals in the night, under the light of a full moon. Perhaps that's why sometimes she dances naked around a fire at midnight. Who knows what she is casting or calling upon.

Seraphina walks the shores at night, when no others do. Those who have seen her in the distance believe she's a ghost - the spirit of a drowned maiden, or a woman who lost her lover at sea. Others speculate that she's a sea nymph or an angel. The truth is far less fanciful. She's just an old vampire, who has long since lost the taste for the hunt.

Louisa had been Countess Odessa's handmaid for centuries. Not all vampires get to be rulers or clan leaders or renown killers - some have follow, to serve. But Louisa never minded working for the Countess - she was a generous woman who gave Louisa a cushy coffin and plenty of blood for her service. Not like her previous employer at all. Unfortunate that he met such a grisly end. It really was a shame that she invited in that invading party, and that she was unable to warn her master before they found him.

Zenobia was one of the first. They say she was once a queen, that she ruled over a huge territory, in a time long since past. Very little of those times are recorded, so nobody knows what happens to the first vampires. But it's said that Zenobia sleeps, deep in the catacombs of some hidden place, waiting for the right time to reclaim her crown.

Anna always had an easier time fitting in with humans. Her skin wasn't deathly pale, her eyes didn't glow, her fangs were less prominent. She could even walk in the day, as long as it wasn't bright, which was easy to do in the smog-filled city. This was because she was never turned - she was simply the daughter of a human and a vampire. Unable to fit in with either.

Abigail never let undeath change her love for pastel colours, lace and bows. She never let it change her disposition. Among vampire society, she became known as a charming girl, the sort who would do anything for anyone. Away from home and need a coffin to sleep in for a day? She has a spare, no payment needed, help yourself to blood packs. There's always plenty of blood in her home anyway, collected by her own fair hands. How does she hunt? That's probably best left unknown.
