“You shuuuushhh” Remus whispers smooshing his finger on Roman’s lips.

Both of them are trying and kinda failing at stifling their laugher, they don’t wanna wake up Logan and Janus after all.

Well, not like this they don’t that is.

They decide that they’re going to do this right in the room to see their partners reactions live.

They’ve done this before, but never in the room with their sleeping beauties and so usually they would take turns, so they’re not quite sure what to do cause once one of them starts to sing, one or both are going to wake up. 

“What if we go at the same time and make them judge who was louder?” Remus whispers. 

Roman has a contemplative look before nodding “that sounds fair.”

Roman puts three fingers up for the countdown to start, Remus’ smile widens with each finger going down and once all are gone both of them belt out their song of choice.

Logan shoots up in the bed with a startled shout of “what the hell!”

Janus’ face scrunches up in annoyance, they sigh and push up their sleeping mask, their eyes are shooting daggers at the twins.

“Who won?” Remus rushes out before anything is said.

“Excuse me?” Logan asks, tired and irked. 

“Which one of us won?” Roman reiterates. 

Janus lifts an eyebrow “at shout singing?”

The twins nod rapidly with amused smiles.

Logan whumps back down on the bed, his arm flung over his eyes “how early is it?”

“Six AM” Remus answers.

“You’re lucky I need to be awake” Logan mumbles but doesn’t get up despite what he just said.

“So who won?” Roman asks again.

Janus and Logan share a glance “Roman” they say at the same time.

Roman fist pumps “yes!”

Remus snaps his fingers “damn it, I thought I had this one.”

Roman boastfully smiles “well this a point to meeee, step up your game.”

Remus blows a raspberry Roman’s way “I’ll step you up.”

“That makes no sense dear” Janus remarks tiredly, they’re back to laying down curled up in Logan’s side, who seems like he’s about to fall back asleep.

“I thought you need to get up?” Remus says.

Logan waves his hand sluggishly “I will when my alarm goes off” he says but as he does so his alarm starts to beep “well, so much for that” he sighs.

Janus curls in on him more and latches on to Logan’s pyjama shirt “mm no you’re warm.”

“But I need-” he doesn’t get to finish his sentence though cause the twins jump into to bed squishing Logan and Janus more together.

Janus smirks as Remus says “need to cuddle more? you’re right!”

Roman snorts “yea you’re not going anywhere right now Starlight.”

“Is this your way of apologizing for waking us up, cause this is not the right way to do that” Logan says but he settles into Roman and Janus’ grasp.

Remus flings his arm around Janus and the twins link thier fingers together to squash their partners up in a Remus Roman sandwich pocket thing.

Remus, Logan, and Janus are in a poly relationship. They've agreed that they want Roman to join them, so Remus volunteered to be the one to invite him in.

Thus, he began to slide some casual flirting into conversations with Roman. Despite his place as the supposed Romantic side, he is oblivious to it.

One day, Remus is going about it again, but this time, Roman realizes.

Roman: Hold up, are you trying to flirt with me, Remus?

Remus: I have been for over a month now, you oblivious f***. You are seriously worse that Lo was.

Roman: heh, sorry about that

Remus: It's alright, but for being the romantic side, we thought you'd catch on quicker than this. I was ready to just be completely blunt about it and pin ya to a wall, but Logan and double dee said no. They thought that would make you freak out and I'd get a black eye or something.
