Before I can talk about humans, I must discuss our paradoxical significance.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a particle physicist. Just an overly curious soul who likes to consume information and think about it. Therefore, I will gladly receive any feedback, discontents, or questioning on the following pieces.

"Particles of matter act as waves, allowing for (mathematically calculated) infinite possibilities (within our physical system). But, when there is an observer of a particle, the wave function is collapsed and the particle of matter behaves as a single particle, therefore restricting it to a physical form.
If I am understanding the behavior of particles correctly, then there are several possible considerations as to how Humans may play a part in the Universe:
First PostulateÂ
An individual’s perception of the world, and consequently that individual’s reality, will be strictly unique to that individual. Reason being, any given relationship of particles observed by an individual will react differently depending on the observer.Â
Assumption: The construction of particles into atoms into a solid object that an individual perceives, will be based on that particular individual’s observation. These particles and thereby atoms, will react or take form differently depending on the observer’s neuronal history (along with other factors, but using neuronal history as an umbrella for the sake brevity).Â
Just to clarify, I am not saying that there is not one existence from which we all base our reality off of. I do believe that there are actual structures and physical laws in the world that we can observe, name and measure. However, the way individual humans experience + witness these structures and laws will absolutely vary (according to my postulate).Â
Further consideration: There then must be some sort of communication between the makeup of the individual and the makeup of the object. Possibly through frequencies (to be further explored). If this is true, do individuals have the ability to control this communication?
Second Postulate
In order for the universe to take form, there must have been an ‘observer’.
Following the logic of particle behavior, in order for anything to have physical form, to manifest in this Universe we live in, an observation must take place. (To be clear, I am by no means arguing that a human-like all-knowing being [e.g. Christianity’s God, Islam’s Allah, etc.] is responsible for the creation of the Universe. I do not want to limit observation to an exclusively human act.)Â
Conversely, I believe it is possible that particles behave differently in other galaxies and this whole argument may only be relevant to the physical laws in our galaxy."

Commentary:
As I delve further into my studies on universe, life, all that is, I begin to question how significant the human being is. Are we only significant to the world/solar system/galaxy we live in? Though everything in the universe is made up of the same material, are physical laws in elliptical galaxies different from those in spiral or irregular galaxies?
According to some scientists, the big bang is a reoccurrence. The universe expands (we are currently expanding) and contracts into singularity. We are but a minuscule mark on an infinite plane, yet we are the most ‘intelligent’ beings we know of. So, how shall we think about our importance? That is the question. For now, striking a balance of recognizing both the significance and insignificance of human life seems like a good place to be.Â
