In recent days, I was thinking about @adamarks’ meta on Simon’s wings again, and it spawned a little sketch: Baz, kissing the crest of Simon’s wings. I just loved the idea of such an intimate touch to the part of Simon that is both his boon and his burden, and the more I drew it, the more I retreated fully into the idea. The result was a much larger piece of art and poetry to match it.
