Inside Im Hurting and Im Quitting 1
Welcome to the Simply Straight Talk Podcast with your host Reggie. Â We can all help prevent suicide. Suicide prevention starts with recognizing the warning signs of suicide and taking them seriously. Talking openly about suicidal thoughts and feelings can save a life.
In this episode I wanted to discuss some of my past experiences and some behaviors that could be warning signs for someone who maybe considering suicide. In 2022 as of the second week of May there have been several suicides from college students. Alana Miller a 19-year-old student who was a cheerleader at Southern University, Sarah Shulze was a 21-year-old at University of Wisconsin and Lauren Bernett, 20-year-old star who attended James Madison University. It’s important that we all take time to understand some things about depression and how to assist people who are struggling with depression.
