Eleanor would have three children with her husband, however, only her first born would survive infancy, a daughter, Lady Margaret Clifford who would go on to marry Henry Stanley, 4th Earl of Derby.

Eleanor would depart the mortal plane on the 27th September, 1547, aged between 27 - 28.

Clifford would remarry and have a further 3 children, including 2 more Earls of Cumberland.
