Potentially gay? I'm not getting my hopes up YET but the fact that we started with the photograph of Mari and Lara together definitely suggests they will at least be the throughline of the show.

It's interesting. In any other season, Rei would DEFINITELY be the fourth Cure after that episode - her link to Pochitan, her outright wishing to have the power to protect her friend, her ONLY not knowing because of the glasses fall, all of that would make her a shoo-in.

But. This season we're playing with an existing Cure with amnesia. And an existing Cure who has her own fairy, no less. And as a result, we're basing this not off who has the best chemistry with Anna and Mikuru, not who would be the most driven to BECOME a Cure (which I'd give to Shiruku or Rei, for the first, and Rei outright for the second,) but who's the most likely to have worked with LULUKA, which is clearly Kurea based off Luluka's interactions with her. And I like Kurea a lot more after her second focus episode! But that's in part because us knowing so little about her is now a clear sign she has amnesia.

1. I somehow managed FIFTEEN MINUTES of time save over the first run, seemingly just by not taking pictures like I did when I was trying All Colors from the start and using Try It On instead of Take A Look with customers to increase fashion show ticket sales. So... I think Try It On may actually, somehow, be the faster option, which is NOT what I was expecting.

2. Apparently I have for years been routinely doing two hour+ play sessions in one sitting, because if playing FAST, skipping through reading, and barely going to the exhibition hall still gets me in at almost an hour-forty five, there's no way I was clocking in under two hours playing casually. I did not notice this until I started playing with a timer.

3. Related to that, my planned All Colors run is now All Colors and Makeup Sets, because I think it's going to have to be split with breaks or run from a semi-arbitrary starting point AFTER the game has really started no matter what, I can't seriously do the run in one sitting with any consistency when I have to get through at least the second fashion show to do the run and the first one takes nearly two hours. Ah well. I was lowkey planning it as colors and makeup sets from the start, they're collected in similar ways, I just figured only doing colors would be faster so I should target that first. If it has to have breaks no matter what, no point in splitting them!
