Regina gave his leg one final squeeze before she pulled her hand back to run through her hair. She glanced over at him with a smirk and a wink. “You would be correct, sir.” She tucked hair behind her ear before she lowered her hand to her lap.

She felt as if the few short blocks had suddenly increased in distance. She pulled her bottom lip into her mouth and sucked at it gently as she hummed softly.

Robin felt the pressure sliding off off him as Regina removed her hand. He was thankful because her actions was very, very distracting for him and there was a real danger of them crashing. All he could think about was her touch and that did not go well with driving.

She felt in her gut that his comment was directed at something more than just the juice. He trusted her and by the gods she wished she could trust him right back. But she couldn’t. “The only concern for some lawyers are the money they are going to get from a case. I, on the other hand, tend to chose my cases carefully. I want justice to be served and I’m not looking for he easy way of making money. I wanna help people who truly need it and that is very stressing, I can assure you.” Robin explained, while his eyes were transfixed by her smile. It was just breathtaking to see that gorgeous woman smile. The way her white teeth contrasted to the color of her skin. The way her eyes shone when she smiled. It was truly magical. 

Roni smirked, happy to have his full attention and to know that their moment from the dressing room would be continued in a different setting. She held his hand as she moved toward the exit, with him in tow. She reached the door, pushing it open and stepping out onto the sidewalk.

“I really do hate to leave business unfinished for too long, Robin. It makes me antsy,” she admitted. She dropped his hand and hurried around to the passenger side of his car, wanting to get to wherever it was they were going so that she could kiss him again.

She already missed the taste of him on her lips.

    A soft smile tugs on her face as she hears his reasoning for wanting a place. One of her favorite things about Robin was his dedication to his son.     When she finally got his response to her question she leaned up on her tiptoes to grab a glass for him. Once she had it secured in her hand she rested back down on her feet and placed the glass down on the counter. Roni couldn’t stop herself from taking in every inch of him as he made his way to her. She had always admired the man when he’d come into her bar, but this was a different setting, and after the things that had taken place in the dressing room, she felt she had the right to look her fill. She kept their hands connected and gently stroked the back of his hand with her thumb as she met his eyes. “Take all the time you need.” She slowly pulled her hand from his and left the dressing room. “Let me just make this purchase, and we’re free to go.” She ducked from beneath his arms, reaching for the two dresses in which she planned to purchase and glanced at him over her shoulder. “Coming, Robin?” she teased, not bothering to hide the double meaning behind her words.

Robin chuckled softly and nodded, agreeing with her. It would appear that this land offered far more opportunities in any aspect of life. He was sure that a place would be found for him and his little boy. One that he could take care of him properly when the boy would be with him. 

“I don’t need much and I don’t have many claims. I just want a simple home for me and my boy.” He added, not sure why. Robin was used to sharing a lot of his dreams and fears with Regina. Maybe that was the reason.

Roni’s hand still rested on his arm. She stepped closer to him as he attempted to laugh off his distraction. She looked up into his eyes. She was about to ask what it was that had him lost inside his head when he invited her to go out. She felt her heart skip a beat as a soft smile graced her lips.

She lifted her hand up, entwining their fingers together as she nodded. “I would absolutely love to, Robin.” She licked her lips, wetting them before she moved up onto tiptoes and pressed a soft kiss to his cheek, but it was more on the corner of his mouth than his cheek.

She felt her cheeks flush with heat, knowing they had turned red as well. She let her eyes fall to his chest then lifted them back up and met his. “Business or pleasure?” she breathed softly as her hand moved from his arm and lifted to where her lipstick had left a mark on his skin and tried to gently wipe it off.
