for my final art project this year i had to "choose 3 objects that describes you as a person"

fast forward to today. my friend has therapy with her mom to talk about what her mom is calling "the situation from last week". in this appointment her mom said that she had always felt uncomfortable having her daughters "friend" (in air quotes) over and would lose sleep in the night to wake up and check on us while we were sleeping.

i just. i feel so awful for my friend and genuinely can't help but feel like this is my fault? and i feel so gross about myself/my sexuality for the first time because she thought i would try and do something with my friend?? i've like never felt this and i know i should't because i know i'm not gross or wrong or anything like that for who i like but the fact her mom never said anything to my friend or me about it and we're just learning now she never liked having me over rubs me the wrong way idk
