one expression i love in spanish is the one we use when we say we do things "for the love of the game" or just for the fun of it: we say we do things "for the love of art" or out of love for art i guess. I was just telling my sister about the edit ideas i have with songs in spanish and i told her that idk if i have an audience for that but i'll do it anyway "por amor al arte". and quite literally that's why i do it always

i tend not to take museum photos of things unless i think i can take a good one, and this was in a glass case so it had a lot of glare, but the sargent exhibit at the met has the only know photograph of madame x before he repainted the shoulder strap and seeing that for the first time in my life made me feel like my body was made of static

after like at least 20 different exported drafts of my edit, i think it is finally done
