#what a delicious intro... loved the sync of the clips with the music. truly delectable #and those last 30 secs with the parallels.. whew #geniunely gasped with the ear kissing thing like i've seen it pointed out in text posts and think maybe i've seen a gifset buuut #i don't think i'd seen it in an edit #and like... man much respect to every other artistic medium but when you get moving images with music THAT'S MY SHIT FRRRR #like it's so powerful.....#anyway love this. we are all so very lucky that you always listen to music's calling #<< prev thank youuu. means a lot coming from you fiore as the edit maker you are!!#the intro was really fun to put together as i'm really pleased with how everything fit braid-wise out of the several clips/hockey moments #the decision to include the parallels came later on. i was def intent on using the club scene for the third part of this song but #it wasn't until i was scrubbing back through that i saw the way ilya did those things to shane and i was like. well. time to get #a little evil with it #the ear thing yeah... that was crazy <3 thank you jacob thank you connor thank you universe for all that #MOVING IMAGES WITH MUSIC forever and ever <3 #thank you. i will never not ignore music :) <3 #(except for this next month) (but i only said i couldn't open capcut. i never said i couldn't think about a next one...)

#the parallels make me think of that jacob quote where he talks about the time skips as representing what shane and ilya remember from those #*from those times #like when they think about draft day what they remember is seeing each other and its also what they remember from the prospect cup etc #all their formative career moments tied to their first impressions of each other #also thinking abt ilya in the club scene thinking abt how much shane must hate those early memories in that moment is making me feel so evi #like the moment where it cuts back to ilya at ~3:15 is crazy i felt my stomach drop 😭#like i told you: ilya possessed you in this one i think. like this just feels like im in his head #incredible as always #<< and these are just most of prev’s tags.
