A deep sigh escaped Jeongguk’s lips as he closed the front door, kicking his shoes off. He hung his coat on the hanger before walking into the kitchen where I sat, making dinner.

“Hey, dollface.” He whispered, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my cheek.

“Hi, Ggukie.” I smiled, turning to kiss him back. Jeongguk grinned and rested his chin on my shoulder, swaying his hips with mine.

“Why are you cooking at eight o’clock at night?” He asked softly.

“This is your lunch for tomorrow. You’d better eat it. You never do, you know that.” I replied, sighing as I turned off the stove.

“I know, baby, but I’m busy.”

“You can’t be too busy not to eat what I packed you,” I sighed as I turned to face him. “You know I always make sure that it’s something you like.”

“I do, and I appreciate it, baby,” He smiled, leaning in to kiss me. Jeongguk’s lips met mine in a chaste kiss before he pulled away to grab my hands. “I promise I’ll start to eat it.”

“Pinky promise?” I asked, holding out my pinky finger.

“Pinky promise.” He interlocked his little finger with mine before pecking my forehead.
