Its funny I saw another artist on instagram using the source of this picture as reference too. Its from nat geo i believe. At first I was sure it was plagiarized cause outrage and all, but then i looked at it closer and saw it wasn’t. I love reference, i think its the only way to actually make art people can relate to (reference can be very nuanced by the way). Turns out we got congruent inspirations, sometimes a reference can be irresistible but you run the risk of someone doing the exact same thing! I always think taking your own reference is the best, but honestly you can always just do another piece.
