This is a dresser I painted in 2014/15 for my cousins. When they brought it to my place it was completely blank. I removed the drawer pulls and replaced them with eye hooks. I painted the characters with acrylic paint. I added electronics and toys from thrift stores to the sides, things with buttons, knobs, and switches to play with. I also used stickers, caution tape, and images from magazines, books, and gift bags on the sides of the dresser. My painting on top of the dresser was inspired by Jack Kirby's drawings of machinery. It took me four months to complete the project. A few years later there was a house fire, and although my cousins were safe, the dresser suffered from severe smoke damage and the house had to be torn down.
