Starting September 2022, due to the impending release of Amazon’s Rings of Power, I will be taking a break from most social media. This will last as long as it takes for the hype and discussion to die down (or, possibly, I might start itching really badly for the feedback you guys have been spoiling me with since I made this blog and subsequently decide to return early, we’ll see). I hope to return someday but unfortunately can’t guarantee anything.
Here is a mostly-exhaustive list outlining what I will and won’t be doing during this hiatus:
Things I will be doing: • Checking direct messages • Checking notifications and possibly replying to some comments • Replying to asks (sometimes) • Making occasional posts when I make something that I’m especially happy with • Participating in a few fandom events (maybe) • Liking posts if I come across them • Commissions (unless otherwise stated on my commissions page)
Things I will NOT be doing: • Posting regularly • Deleting any of my blogs or posts • Checking my dashboard every day • Permanently unfollowing a lot of people all at once (I might unfollow one here or there, but no more often than I’ve done up until this point)
If there’s anything I didn’t cover here, just ask and I’ll add it to the list.
If you’d like to see those occasional posts I’ll be making right from the source, you can keep following this blog. If you only follow active blogs, then you’ll probably best off stopping following me for the time being. I’ll miss those of you who leave but I really can’t blame you or stop you.
