D E K U

 Blake listened intently as Izuku told her about quirks. She was rather impressed by the idea of it and how it seemed rather familiar. “That’s kinda like what a semblance is in my world. Mine is… well as you saw… making shadow clones of myself. It’s not as cool as your quirk” she says with a chuckle.

 They were nearing the ice cream parlor and Blake had to say she was already enjoying her time with Izuku. It was nice to meet someone who had powers and knew how to use it. She smiles. “You know. I’m quite impressed by you got me. I thought I for sure was going to win” she teases playfully as she opens the door of the parlor and holds it open for Izuku before walking in.  There were a few people ahead of them. Blake looks over at the menu. “You said you wanted Strawberry right? Any toppings?”

Creating shadow clones of herself, that sounded like a quirk of one of the villain’s back home. Except, these were more durable from what he knew. And she was on the side of good, he thanked his lucky stars for that. Although he was only touching the surface of what his power could do, One for All was something that he had to be careful with. 

Aside the broken bones, he had gotten the hang of it. At least he liked to believe he did. It didn’t stop him from training however, he can’t lose control no matter the cost. “I’m full of surprises.” Izuku said with a small chuckle, walking into the parlor and taking a look around. He hadn’t gotten the chance to visit every location in Wonderland yet, but so far, everywhere he has seen is outstanding in presence.

Tinted red cheeks were being hidden as he glanced away with a small smile, although he had been with Blake for a bit now, he would still get flustered every single time. It meant a lot coming from someone he really devoted himself too. And he was sure that Blake knew that all too well. If he had to take a wild guess, she probably knew him more than he knew himself sometimes.

"You think so?" He asked softly, scratching his cheek as he chuckled nervously. "I don't think I'm anything great. Everything I do is all thanks to my training, unless you mean just by the things I normally do." There he goes, mumbling to himself over the littlest things. Overthinking really was his biggest strength, if only he could learn to not do it so much.

    Seeing that Deku remembered him, Jaune flet a bit of his anxiety poof away as Deku also asked about the present.

    Presenting the small present, Jaune felt a more genuine smile appear on his face, “Y-yeah! I had to ask Blake about what you liked and she mentioned action figures so I went to the mall and found one that looked most like a super hero?”

     When Deku opens the present he will find a basic action figure with a red, white, and blue costume and the figure comes with two accessories; a grappling hook and a shield, which is also red, white, and blue.

    Jaune smiled, a little bit more relaxed, “Y-yeah! Blake and I fought together a lot! So, yeah! Totally friends!”

“A-Action figure?!” A small blush of embarrassment appeared on the young hero’s cheeks as he took the present, chuckling nervously. Leave it to Blake to know him well, but he didn’t mind.

“You didn’t have to you know.” Izuku said, he was grateful no matter what, the fact that someone else took the time out of their day to pay him a visit so he wouldn’t feel alone meant the world. As he opened up the gift, his eyes instantly lit up as he held the action figure. 

Love.

A four lettered word that could mean so many things, it could range from enjoying something or being very fond of someone you admire so much. Someone you couldn't bare to be without. Was that love is to him?

Izuku had never quite shown interest in girls, not even when he first began attending UA, it was never something he fully paid attention to. Even with girls like Uraraka, who was his best friend, she seemed to have more of a crush on him. While he did easily fluster around the girl, he didn't pursue anything further. It would only confuse him beyond reason, as well as potentially distract him from his goal of becoming the greatest hero.

But now, it was all different. While he still had his goal in mind, he had found someone within Wonderland to trust with his heart. At first, he felt guilty. Guilty because he was sure Uraraka would be crushed, but at the end of the day, he only viewed her as his best friend and didn't want to ruin anything with her. But with this person- it was different.

Blake hums. “Yeah. I think it would be nice though” she says before looking at her food and pushing her plate away from herself. “Alright. I guess I really wasn’t that hungry. Want to go?” she asks him with a cute tilt of her head as she looked towards him.

She kinda wanted to be in the rain and just walk hand in hand with him under an umbrella. Maybe they could make this random conversation soon become a reality. “I kinda want to get out here before the rain stops” she says with a giggle.

That. That was adorable. And his emerald eyes were gleaming from the awe of seeing her tilt her head to the side, as if she couldn’t get any more cuter to the freckled boy, his thoughts were interrupted as he got up to look back at her.

Humming to himself as he sat on his bed in the comforts of his room in the Prophecy Hotel, Izuku was taking a breather as he settled into night time. A certain time of year was coming up and he wasn't exactly excited. While yes it was true, he had made a few friends here, met someone as amazing as Blake, he was still missing most of his classmates from U.A. and even his teachers. Aizawa. Present Mic. Nezu. Midnight. All Might.

Taking one of the weights that he had by his bed side, he lifted it up and down, keeping his thoughts in his head. There was no possible way anyone was aware of his birthday coming up, although if this strange place somehow did find out, it wouldn't be so bad. Regardless, Izuku was looking forward to it.

   Blake couldn’t help but giggle, finding Izuku being nervous rather adorable. “Thanks. You look amazing too. And come on then. Let’s go” she says before grabbing his hand and starting to walk downtown towards the train station.

 She was rather nervous too,to say the least. This was practically her first date ever with anyone. She was excited but nervous. She wanted everything today to just go well and nothing to go wrong. She really liked this boy. He made her feel again. He made her feel like she can  be who she is without the weird glares she got from other people who’ve met her. Izuku was different and she liked that he is. 

  Blake smiles at him as she squeezes his hand gently. Despite being the taller of the pair, she didn’t mind. He is cute and sweet and nothing made her happier than to be able to be herself around him. “When we get there we better make a bunch of memories  okay?”

Feeling his hand get taken, he was running through all his lines in his head, of course all that running was him panicking internally over how he could screw this up. And that was the last thing he wanted to do. He wanted this to go perfectly, it was his first date and he was not going to mess it up. Good thing they weren’t around any villains, if this were his home, a villain would’ve shown up by now and attacked.

Although it was common for him to get nervous around girls, one with him not being used to speaking with them and finding his hero name adorable, it flustered the freckled boy to say the least. This was Izuku’s chance to be the man, something Kirishima would be telling him to be, and he was determined for this to work.

Seeing the smile on Blake’s face was worth it, that was all that mattered to him. He was thanking his lucky stars he didn’t have to protect her, although he would without hesitation. But no need, no one was going to ruin this and she isn’t some damsel in distress. It was a big relief.

   Blake was a bit surprised when Izuku didn’t let get of his hand the moment he stood up. She blushes before pulling her hand away swiftly and letting it go to her hair as she tries to tame it a bit. “Sure. Strawberry for you and Vanilla for me” she says with a smile before she dusts herself off. “I’ve got to say you’ve got quite a power there. Don’t know what it was but you somehow got faster. What was it called? Shoot-style or something?” she asks as she starts to lead the way out of the S.S.A training facility.

  “And what did you say before about having a  quirk? What’s a quirk? Sorry I should probably ask this when we’re at the ice cream parlor but I’m just so curious” she giggles nervously. “I mean. It’s cool that you have a.. quirk or power too. I haven’t met anyone new here who does. So yeah” she rambles a bit.

  She really was impressed by the fact that she was caught. She didn’t think he was going to win but a bet is a bet and she obviously lost. She was just wondering how. Hopefully she’ll get to know him better when they get their reward for training so hard.

Coughing quietly as she released his hand, he nervously poked both his index fingers together as they began to make their way out of the building, his eyebrow quirking up as she asked about his power. A small nod came from the male, “Shoot style is the very embodiment of who I am. It’s a very important part of my fighting style as well.”

Although he was cautious about telling his secret to anyone, he didn’t see a reason to hide the details. He felt as if he could trust Blake, even though he had just taken her down for some ice cream. It almost seemed playful.
