The Legacy Of Benjamin âCoachâ Wade
Benjamin AKA âCoachâ first appeared in the eighteenth season of Survivor: Tocantins. Right from the beginning, Coach appeared as the typical âtwat-early-bootâ of the season. However, little did fans know... Coach has a LOT more of an influence in the future of Survivor hidden behind that samurai-ponytail than they thought.
Coach immediately begun the game with one target and enemy, after escaping the opening-vote-twist: Sierra. If my memory is correct, Coach wanted to boot Sierra after believing sheâs a weakling since she was sick on the truck, taking the cast to Tocantins in the first place.
So, basically, Sierra is doomed. COACH, the guy who bites and never lets go, is after her. At this point, Sierra is bound to end up as an early boot.
But nope. After Erin claims that Brendan (Who is previously running the game) is the leader of the tribe which her and Coach are in, Coach goes maniac-coach-mode and has ALL FIRE-ARMS AIMED AT BRENDAN (Only because Erin said that one sentence!)
Poor Brendan was playing such a strong game, but at merge (despite Timbira having the numbers) Psycho-Samurai decides to flip to Jalapaoâs alliance where he can apparently trust his 100% loyal, honorable friends who totally werenât planning to back-stab him since they made an alliance: âThe Warriorâ (John Thomas) and âThe Wizardâ (Stephen Fishbach)
So, Brendan was the first jury-member of the season merely because Erin declared him as a better leader than Coach. Thanks Coach, you screwed up Brendan, Sierra, Tyson, Debbie, Erin and most importantly your OWN chanceâs at winning the million thanks to your massive-ass ego -.-
(By the way, he called Brendan the âDragonâs Headâ and Sierra the âBowel Movementsâ. Yuck.)
So, although Coach is possibly the most amazing character that Survivor has ever seen (The scene when he lost the immunity against JT was golden) he is possibly one of the worst strategists of all time, too.
Who would you like me to talk about next, if anybody? What do you think about Benjamin âCoachâ Wade?
See you guys next time!
