Oh hey and the reason all the companies on Amazon are now those weird random names is because Amazon decided to completely offload its vetting process for storefronts onto the American trademark office, and it's created a huge problem! Instead of taking the time and expense to have their own verification process for stores, Amazon switched a couple years ago to say that in order to have a store on Amazon, you just have to have a valid trademark.
This created a HUGE amount of extra work for the trademark office, of course, while Amazon is getting all the financial benefits at absolutely no cost to themselves.
And the reason why all the names look like keyboard smashes is that it's actually significantly easier to get a trademark for a bunch of random letters because of how American trademark law works. If I was, for example, a pants company called The Pants Store and I wanted to get a trademark for my business then I'd have a LOT of hoops to go through because Pants are so closely tied to my business, and trademark has to weigh whether allowing me to trademark those words will create an unfair disadvantage to my competitors (if I've trademarked "pants store" then how are my competitors, who are also stores that sell pants, supposed to let people know what they are? Do they have to call themselves "two-legged bottom garments marketplace"? Is that fair?) and all of this takes time and money and resources (gotta pay your attorneys, folks) to get figured out with the trademark office, UNLESS.
See what these companies figured out this that trademarks that are just random letters have no significance, so there's no risk of disadvantaging competitors, and they don't sound like other companies so there's no risk there. A bunch of random nonsense that means nothing is overwhelmingly the easiest thing to trademark! And that's why all the stores on Amazon look like that now.
